Note what that means about what we do know about the Universe, and consequently about Ultimate Reality. Contrast it to what we do not know. Understand that knowing intellectually is not very helpful in this endeavor. We may not fully understand, but we are not really separate from any of it. The elements of the Universe make up our physical bodies. Running through it all, through the dark energy, dark matter, anti-matter, atomic matter, the known elements, and the unknown is Consciousness, Awareness. This we can know. We can't adequately explain it, but we know it when we experience it. It is as close as our breath.
Seventy percent of the Universe is Dark Energy, which humans know very little about. Twenty five percent of the Universe is Dark Matter, which we likewise know little of. Four percent of the Universe is matter within the composition of atoms, which is not illuminated in a form visible to us. The matter that is visible to us represents about one half of one percent of the balance. What is neijin?
"Tai Chi Chuan (Taijiquan) practitioners harbor the dream of developing the magic of Neijin (Internal Strength). Neijin—the stuff of the kungfu prowess of Taijiquan—is mysterious because the art of Taijiquan resides in the internal, not characterized by the vigor of physical activities that we are familiar with. Neijin seems to defy physics, but there is no new physics." A presentation by Chen Style Taiji Master C.P. Ong, published by Violet Li on her website. Presented at the 17th World Congress on Qigong, Tai Chi, and TCM, Sep 3 2016, San Francisco, California by C.P. Ong Ph.D., Scientist of the Year Award 2016. The Rest of the Story |
